The Farming Equipment and Technology Fund is part of the Farming Investment Fund. It offers grants for specific items of equipment to increase productivity, boost environmental sustainability and improve animal health and welfare. At the end of this month, the first round of the Slurry Infrastructure grant will close for applications. So, if you haven’t yet applied, now is the time to. In this post, I’ll give you a recap of the grant and the process to apply before the 31 January.
A fortnight ago, we made full guidance for the new Slurry Infrastructure grant available on GOV.UK. I said I’d blog again when it was time to apply. I’m pleased to say that the first round is now open for applications and it will stay open until 31 January 2023.

So, ahead of its launch in June, we are making the manual for the next theme available today: Adding Value. In June, you can apply for a grant for buildings, machinery or equipment so that producers can add value to eligible agricultural products after they are harvested or reared.
