Farmer Collaboration Fund: webinar for potential delivery partners

Posted by: , Posted on: - Categories: Farming and Countryside Team

Across England, farmers and land managers are sharing knowledge, testing new approaches, and finding practical solutions that benefit both their businesses and the environment.

We want to build on that momentum.

Once it opens for applications, the Farmer Collaboration Fund will support farmer-led groups to work together more effectively. It will do this by funding:

  • the costs of running collaboration groups, including coordination and facilitation
  • access to specialist advice

We expect groups to focus on what matters most locally, building on existing priorities and plans. It will be a competitive fund.

Delivery partners will be central to making the fund work in practice.

They will build on existing strategies and partnerships, work closely with farmers, land managers and other organisations, and demonstrate how those groups will deliver clear outcomes.

We want to hear from a range of organisations that could help us deliver the fund. This includes charities and farmer-led groups, local authorities, strategic authorities, and National Landscapes, as well as commercial businesses such as limited companies.

We’re hosting a webinar for organisations and groups considering applying to become a delivery partner.

During the session, we will provide an overview of the fund and how it is expected to operate. There will also be an opportunity to ask questions.

We will invite participants to share information about their potential interest in applying. This will help us better understand who might apply in the first year of the fund.

Up to £2.5 million will be available in 2026/27. Projects can be funded for up to 3 years, with a similar budget each year, and we expect to support up to 10 projects in the first year, with more projects to follow.

An application process will open later in the year, where we will decide which applicants receive a share of the funding.

The webinar will take place online on 19 May 2026, from 2pm to 4pm.
