The Farmer Collaboration Fund (FCF) is designed to support practical, locally led collaboration that helps farmers and land managers work together to build more sustainable, productive and resilient farming businesses.
The £30 million fund has been shaped through extensive engagement with farmers, land managers, facilitators and organisations from across the sector.
Through workshops and discussions held around the country, we heard about the opportunities collaboration can create. They also highlighted the practical challenges of getting groups off the ground and sustaining momentum once they're established.
The first funding round opens from 1 September.
Applications will close on 30 September. Successful applicants are expected to be notified in early November.
Individual farmers, land managers and group facilitators cannot apply for the FCF, but we will publish details of successful delivery partners.
We’ve published guidance for FCF on GOV.UK. This will be finalised later in August, but it should help you plan applications early.
