Many pig producers and processors are operating in an environment of volatile prices, rising input costs and broader supply chain uncertainty, all of which can place additional strain on commercial relationships.
Against this backdrop, effective communication, mutual understanding and strong working relationships across the supply chain are more important than ever.
Last month, we launched a survey for producers, processors and others working across the industry to share their experiences and reflections.
We recognise that this is a busy time of year, particularly for those who manage both livestock and arable enterprises and are dealing with an earlier-than-usual harvest.
So, to give more people the opportunity to share their views, we have extended the survey deadline to 31 July 2026.
Whether you are a pig farmer, processor, part of a representative organisation, or otherwise involved in the pig sector, we would like to hear from you.
Your feedback is invaluable. It will help us identify where further guidance, communication or engagement may be needed, while providing insight into how the regulations are working in practice.
It will help inform our ongoing work with the sector and discussions with policy colleagues, ensuring that the experiences of those working across the industry are reflected in our understanding of the challenges it faces and future priorities.
The survey takes around 10 minutes to complete.
Please do share it with others working across the sector.
