Watch: Sustainable farming in the Lake District

In this film, local farm facilitator Danny Teasdale explains how environmental improvements go hand in hand with food production in the Lake District.

Danny set up the community interest company Ullswater Catchment Management in 2015 to help improve flood resilience and prove it's possible to work with nature within a commercial farm business.

This is the first in a series of films about the great work being undertaken in the area. Look out for future films here on the blog.

Danny has it right - 'Right thing, right place' is how you get the best out of sustainability.
