Jane is a Business Analyst in the Future Farming and Countryside Programme's Advice Team. The team is responsible for developing the long-term strategy and service for advice. They are working with users across the agricultural system to understand the problems and possible solutions.
Jane has worked in the Civil Service since 2005, she spent 12 years working in RPA on several operational teams and, following 3 years on the Civil Service Fast Stream, moved into the Future Farming and Countryside Programme in 2020.
Jane lives in Northumberland, she grew up in agriculture and still spends time in the countryside whenever she can.
The Future Farming Advice team is responsible for making sure that people have the advice they need to support them through the agricultural transition and beyond. In this post, I’ll give you an overview of our work. I’ll share some of our findings and explain what we’re doing next.
