Farmers like Harry Baker Cresswell are helping us to shape the future of farming in England.
Harry farms Preston Mains Farm in Northumberland. He became involved with tests and trials after attending a Defra roadshow on the future of agriculture in 2018.
In this video, Harry, also a conservation consultant, explains his experience working with Defra to test and trial land management plans.
He takes us around the farm and talks about the improvements he will make in his own land management plan.
You can learn more about the 23 Burns Farmer Group to which Harry belongs in his tests and trials case study on GOV.UK.
If you have any questions about test and trials, email ELMtestingandtrials@defra.gov.uk.
If you'd like to get involved in our co-design work, send an email to ffcpcodesign@defra.gov.uk
Many thanks to Harry.

It would be most helpful if you could provide more detail of hwat a land management plan involves, how it is produced and how it can be used.

Hi Bill,
We're developing more information on this at the moment but in the interim, do email my colleagues ELMtestingandtrials@defra.gov.uk.
Best wishes,
Sarah
