Interest in Countryside Stewardship Higher Tier (CSHT) single-focus agreements continues to grow, with 650 expressions of interest (EOIs) received since the offer opened at the end of July. This post covers the current areas of interest and how to submit an EOI.
Single-focus agreements are designed to provide a simpler route into Countryside Stewardship Higher Tier (CSHT). Since opening on July 21, over 300 expressions of interest have been received for these types of agreements. In this post, we provide a summary and a reminder of the Expression of Interest (EOI) process.
From today, you can express your interest in a Countryside Stewardship Higher Tier (CSHT) agreement for agroforestry or woodland improvement. You can also express your interest in single-focus agreements for scheduled monument management or species-rich grassland.
This post outlines our plans to expand CSHT to more farmers and land managers in England.
From today, eligible farmers, foresters and land managers who’ve received pre-application advice and completed any necessary preparatory works will be invited, on a rolling basis, to apply for Countryside Stewardship Higher Tier (CSHT) online.

In addition to this, guidance for Countryside Stewardship Higher Tier applications is available, with the online service opening next week for invited applicants who have completed pre-application advice.
