Giles Hall is a Senior Stakeholder Engagement Manager in Defra's Faming and Countryside Programme. With over 18 years of experience, he has built a reputation as an innovative community engagement manager. His work focuses on fostering meaningful connections with stakeholders, ensuring that their voices are heard and considered in policy development. He also runs FCP's ambassador programme.
In his role at Defra, Hall is actively involved in engaging with farmers and other stakeholders across the country, participating in various agricultural shows and events. This hands-on approach allows him to gather valuable insights and feedback, which are crucial for shaping policies that affect the agricultural sector.

Sustainable Farming Incentive update (12 May 2025)
Those who started an SFI application within 2 months of 11 March 2025 but did not submit it by that date will be given 6 weeks to complete an application, subject to specific restrictions, including a cap of £9,300 per year per agreement.
